How one man found a way to help many women sexually abused in Guatemala.

STOP HARASSMENT

And every time you give, you transform more and more.

Guatemala is considered the most dangerous place for women in the Western Hemisphere. Suffering from a brutal legacy of women’s rights abuses and sexual violence exacerbated by oppressive poverty and an appalling lack of social programs. Frustrated with inaction Eric Toupin, 34, built a home for victims of sexual abuse.

The shelter takes a longterm, holistic approach to rehabilitation and support. For many of their residents, the home begins as a safe place during a time of crisis, but soon becomes a catalyst for positive change, transformation and the cultivation of independence in their lives.

The home offers safety, support and opportunity for women of every age: childhood, adolescence and adulthood.
