I've submitted a story proposal to VERSE but have not received a response?
Thank you for sending your story to use. Each day we receive multiple story requests that are all being discussed and looked at. Please allow 3/5 working days for one of our team members to get back to you. If your story is urgent please contact us using our live support service.
I can't see my donation in the "Recent Donors" box?
If you can't see your donation in the live accumulator, but received a receipt and confirmation email, then your payment is being held for approval through our payment provider STRIPE. This security process doesn't take too long, so expect your donation to appear shortly.
My card keeps getting rejected, why?
We use a secure payment processor to ensure that your credit card information is safe. However, sometimes it may reject payments for unspecified reasons. We recommend contacting your issuing bank to understand why the charge was blocked. We appreciate your patience and understanding!
Where does my processing fee go?
Your processing fee covers Stripes charge & Donorbox platform charge. As a charity, we get the best rate with STRIPE to keep the fee down. The Stripe fee covers converting your donation to the right currency, transferring it and protecting your details. We are a registered charity, and don't take a penny from your donation, ensuring it goes straight to the person in your story.
What if I choose not to cover the processing fee?
If you opt out on paying the small process fee that covers the transaction, exchange and protection, the total process fees not covered will then be deducted from the final total at the end of the campaign.
How can I fundraise for a story on VERSE?
We're glad you asked! We're registered on Facebook's charity platform, so launch the fundraiser tool on Facebook and select VERSE as the charity. Make sure to title your campaign with the story on our site. You can also sign up to our fundraising newsletter here with tips and tricks on how to achieve your goal!
